Inn at Oriental Policies

By completing your reservation, you are agreeing to abide by all of The Inn at Oriental’s policies and procedures and agreeing accept all responsibility for the duration of reservation.

Check In

Between 3 PM – 6 PM

Guest will be required to present a valid, government-issued photo ID.

 

The remaining balance is due at the time of check-in. Invoices & payment will be sent to the email provided. Printed invoices are available upon request. 

Check Out

 11 AM

If you require a later check-out, Please notify IAO during breakfast hours;

we will do our best to accommodate.

Breakfast

Daily 7:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m

 

IAO's European-style breakfasts are served in the dining room.

Should you have special dietary requirements, please advise us upon check-in so we have time to prepare.

In-Room

NO PARTYING ALLOWED AT ANY TIME.

NO SMOKING ALLOWED AT ANY TIME.

Quiet hours are between 11:00p & 7:00a. To ensure enjoyment and to protect The Inn at Oriental and its Guests, this policy is strictly enforced. If this policy is not followed, the Guest will forfeit all fees and will be asked to leave.

Pets

Smoking

Friendly and leashed dogs are welcome at the Inn with a Pet fee of $50.00 per dog per stay.

 

Maximum two dogs per room. 

 

Dogs must remain in the Guest’s room or leashed with the Guest outside on the property.

Guest’s dogs are not allowed in the Inn’s common areas (sun room, reception, living room, dining room). We have 3 Guest rooms that are Dog-friendly with exterior access - Nantucket, Mystic & Booth Bay.

Any excessive disturbance from a Guest’s dog will result in an evaluation of removing the dog(s) from the Inn’s property.

 

If determined that damages have taken place at The Inn at Oriental by a Guest’s dog, the Inn reserves all right to charge the Guest for any damages to the Inn, the Inn’s furniture and other property, the Inn’s floors, or any resulting costs or losses due to the Guest’s dog or due to the negligence of the Guest with regard to their dog.

The Inn at Oriental is a non-smoking B&B. Smoking is prohibited anywhere inside the Inn and on any Inn or Inn room patios or decks.

 

If smoking occurs in the Inn or any of its rooms, a cleaning fee of $500.00 will be charged to the applicable Guest.

 

We ask that you be courteous towards other guests and only smoke in the designated outdoor areas for smoking that are marked with signs.

 

Please dispose of all trash in the appropriate receptacles.

Parking

Parking on-site is limited & can only abide by one car per stay. Street parking is available for additional vehicles.

Payment

Age Restriction

In accordance with NC state laws, Guests must be 19 years or older to check in without a parent or legal guardian present. A valid government-issued photo ID must be presented at check-in time for age verification and, on request, a valid credit card.

Child(ren)

Cancellation/ No Show

100% of the reservation balance is charged for any & all no-show guests.

One night’s stay is charged for cancellations within 14 days of reservation.

50% of stay charged for cancellations within seven days of reservation.

100% of stay charged for cancellations within two days of reservation.

50% of the Guest’s total for booking their stay is due at the time of booking. In order for Guest bookings to be fulfilled at the time of check-in, sufficient ID must be provided.

 

The remaining 50% of the Guest’s total for booking their stay is due at check-in time. Any applicable Guest room charges will be placed on the authorized credit card at the time of checkout.

 

A two-night minimum booking is required for weekends.

 

Accepted Payment Types: Debit, VISA, MasterCard, Amex, Cash

 

If determined that damages have taken place at The Inn at Oriental by a Guest, the Inn reserves all right to charge for any damages to the Inn, the Inn’s furniture & other property, floors, or any resulting costs or losses due to the Guest, or the negligence of the Guest.

 

The Guest also acknowledges and agrees that the total charged for their stay will not limit the right of The Inn at Oriental to exercise or pursue any remedy available in law or in equity for breach of this agreement, including, but not limited to, damages on appliances or finishes, furniture, or any other costs or losses resulting from the negligence of the Guest.

 

The Guest hereby also agrees that any lost or damaged keys, TV remotes, and blow dryers will be replaced at the Guest (s)’ cost and will be deducted.

 

Please return your room key to the reception desk prior to departing the Inn’s property. The penalty for lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed keys is $50.00.
